Category Leader - Procurement

Job Summary

Managing sourcing strategies for various Indirect spend categories, the full-time remote Category Leader - Indirect Procurement will develop category management strategies, execute productivity initiatives, and optimize supplier relationships to enhance service and quality levels.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and implement a comprehensive category strategy for Indirect goods and services
• Facilitate procurement processes and policies for regional/global alignment and identify cost reduction opportunities
• Lead negotiations and contract development with suppliers while managing key strategic supplier relationships

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of procurement/purchasing leadership experience in Indirect Procurement
• Experience with SAP Ariba and other SAP tools
• Proven track record in international procurement/sourcing and leading change in cross-cultural environments
• Strong analytical and financial acumen including cost modeling and budgeting
• Demonstrated strategic decision-making abilities in a complex, matrixed environment
