Category Management Director
Job Summary
To develop innovative procurement solutions, the full-time remote Category Management Director will manage category strategies, engage senior leadership for buy-in, and oversee supplier relationships while driving organizational transformation and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Influence the development of category strategies and initiatives focused on transformation and sustainability
- Monitor category financial performance and high-value proposal evaluations with business stakeholders
- Develop and lead the Category team with a strategic focus on procurement goals and compliance improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Sourcing, Procurement, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in a related field
- Preferred certifications include CPM, CPSM, or CSCP
- Experience in managing supplier relationships at a global enterprise level
- Proven ability to promote and manage changes in procurement policies and processes
