Category Management Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Management Expert who will lead the development and execution of category management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate category/spend information and make recommendations for sourcing strategy
• Develop category expertise and manage supplier relationships
• Lead internal projects and participate in supplier negotiations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum five (5) years of work experience in sourcing, financial analysis, or a related field
• Experience with project management and analytical tools
• Ability to act with authority in supplier and stakeholder interactions
• Experience and knowledge with Railroads is preferred
