Category Management Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Category Management & Strategic Sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to evaluate vendor proposals
• Manage vendor lifecycle and establish performance assessment standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience; advanced degree preferred
• Experience in IT category management and vendor lifecycle management
• Experience with Requests for Information/Proposals and contract negotiation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
• SAP Ariba experience and Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred
