Category Management Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Category Management & Strategic Sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations
• Conduct market research and perform financial analysis of vendor proposals
• Manage vendor lifecycle and establish performance assessment standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience; advanced degree preferred
• Experience in Information Technology, Healthcare Services, or Managed Care
• Knowledge of vendor lifecycle management and contracting principles
• Experience with Requests for Information/Proposals and complex IT contracts
• SAP Ariba experience and Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred
