Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Manager I responsible for sourcing strategies and procurement agreements to drive cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and manage associated sourcing projects
• Negotiate purchasing agreements and develop service level agreements (SLA)
• Build and maintain relationships with internal clients and stakeholders to address purchasing needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience
• 4+ years of sourcing or procurement experience
• CPSM, PMP, or Six Sigma certification is a plus
• Knowledge of supply chain, category management, and strategic sourcing concepts
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, and e-procurement technologies
