Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Manager to oversee category strategy and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and improve sales and profitability of assigned products and vendors
• Propose opportunities for assortment expansion through new categories and vendor relationships
• Develop overall category strategy to facilitate year-over-year growth

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of experience in a category, marketing, or business development role
• Experience in retail, preferably e-commerce
• Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong grasp of business fundamentals such as P&L management
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define problems and provide solutions
