Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Manager III to develop sourcing strategies and manage procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and manage sourcing projects, including vendor analysis and service level agreements
• Negotiate high-value purchasing agreements and maintain supplier relationships while managing supplier performance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through data analysis and collaboration with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) or 4+ years of professional work experience
• 10+ years of sourcing or procurement experience
• CPSM, PMP, or Six Sigma certification is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain, category management, and strategic sourcing concepts
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, and knowledge of the telecommunications industry is beneficial
