Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Manager I responsible for sourcing strategies and procurement agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and manage associated sourcing projects
• Negotiate mutually beneficial purchasing agreements and manage stakeholder relationships
• Perform analysis of category data to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop service level agreements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) or 4+ years of professional work experience
• 4+ years of sourcing or procurement experience
• Knowledge of supply chain, category management, and strategic sourcing concepts
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, and e-procurement technologies
• Certification in CPSM, PMP, or Six Sigma is a plus
