Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate with business areas to understand needs and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals
• Develop and execute category strategies to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings
• Negotiate and amend complex contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value and quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or category management
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Purchasing Manager) preferred
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects
• In-depth knowledge of Supplier, Procurement, and Vendor Management protocols and procedures
