Category Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for developing and executing category strategies, the full-time remote Category Manager will optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance across a portfolio of materials and services while driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company goals through market and spend analysis
• Lead strategic sourcing activities, including RFI and RFP processes, to negotiate favorable supplier terms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure category strategies meet stakeholder needs and drive continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing
• Proven track record in supplier relationship management and negotiation
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market and spend analysis
• Knowledge of procurement policies and compliance standards
