Category Manager - Data Center Cooling

Job Summary

Driving the global end-to-end category strategy, the full-time salaried Category Manager - Data Center Cooling will manage a multi-hundred-million-dollar annual spend on mechanical cooling systems while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year global strategic sourcing strategies for mechanical cooling commodities
• Manage executive-level relationships with Tier-1 and Tier-2 cooling OEMs to drive supplier capacity expansion and technical innovation
• Lead complex negotiations for Master Purchasing Agreements and Capacity Agreements while ensuring cross-functional alignment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related technical discipline; Master's degree or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of strategic sourcing or supply chain management experience, with at least 5 years in critical data center infrastructure or industrial HVAC
• Deep technical and commercial understanding of mechanical cooling systems
• Proven track record of structuring complex, high-value contracts with global OEMs
• Strong cross-functional leadership and executive presentation skills
