Category Manager, Fabrication

Job Summary

Leading category and operational management for assigned commodities, the full-time remote Category Manager, Fabrication will enhance total cost, quality, delivery, and reliability while serving as the primary contact for suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage segmentation of assigned spend into sub commodity groups to achieve operational excellence
• Develop and execute a commodity strategy to improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and secure supply continuity
• Conduct regular business reviews with strategic suppliers and create presentations for supplier relationship management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in complex engineering and construction projects
• 3+ years of experience in negotiations including RFI, RFP, RFQ, and contract development
• Experience with vendor management and purchase order administration
• Familiarity with Project ERP systems (SAP or Ariba) in a global company
