Category Manager II

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Category Manager II will manage category strategies in partnership with the Sourcing Centers of Excellence team, focusing on sourcing functions, contract management, and supplier performance to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business owners to align category strategies with overall business objectives
• Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies that drive long-term value and savings targets
• Conduct market research and supplier performance reviews to ensure alignment with industry trends and operational goals

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or healthcare-related roles
• Demonstrated experience in category management or strategic sourcing within a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in managing mid-level projects and stakeholder communications
• Experience with strategic procurement and supplier relationship management
• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
