Job Summary
Overseeing the strategy and procurement for complex services related to network construction, the full-time remote Category Manager - Network Construction will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and develop category strategies to optimize performance and value.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external analysis of category spend and market conditions to inform strategy discussions
- Develop and implement annual category strategy plans, identifying savings opportunities through negotiations and RFPs
- Manage high-complexity contracts and oversee supplier performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in procurement and supplier management
- Proven experience in negotiating high-complexity contracts
- Strong knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for managing senior-level relationships
