Category Manager, Real Estate Procurement
Job Summary
To support a global real estate portfolio, the temporary Category Manager, Global Real Estate Procurement will lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial contract activities, working remotely or from NYC or Charlotte.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute global category strategies for design, construction, and related real estate spend categories
- Lead sourcing activities for capital projects, including managing RFIs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations
- Negotiate contracts and establish supplier governance programs to optimize performance and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or related field
- 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or commercial management experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting corporate real estate, design, or construction programs
- Demonstrated experience leading complex RFPs and global sourcing initiatives
- Strong financial acumen and contract management expertise
