Category Manager, Thermal Equipment

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and technically capable Category Manager, Thermal (HVAC) Equipment, this full-time hybrid position will manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and manufacturing coordination for critical electrical infrastructure supporting advanced data center deployment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and category management activities for thermal infrastructure equipment, including chillers and cooling systems
• Develop long-term supplier relationships and strategic sourcing plans to enhance supply continuity and deployment scalability
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to align sourcing activities with design requirements and operational readiness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or supplier management within infrastructure or HVAC environments
• Strong understanding of thermal management systems supporting data centers or industrial facilities
• Experience with sourcing categories such as chillers and liquid cooling technologies preferred
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, and supplier organizations
