Category Negotiations Project Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Category Negotiations Project Manager will be responsible for planning and executing Corporate Commodity Negotiation Projects within the Custom Designed Parts category, including Machined Parts and Cable Assemblies, while collaborating with Category Management and maintaining productive relationships with project participants.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute negotiation projects, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and policies
• Develop project scope, goals, and strategies in partnership with Category Management
• Collaborate with the Project Administrator to complete necessary documentation in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or manufacturing engineering with 8 years of procurement experience
• Strong project management background with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to interface and influence various levels of internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
• Experience in manipulating and translating large data sets for targeted audiences
