Category Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Ferrule & Connector Category Sourcing Manager to lead global sourcing strategy and supplier management for optical termination components.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global category strategy and roadmap for ferrules and connectors
• Source, qualify, and manage an approved global supplier base across multiple regions
• Lead RFQs, commercial negotiations, and manage supplier performance to meet cost and service targets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Economics
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, category management, or supply chain roles
• Experience with optical connectors, ferrules, or high-speed connectivity components
• Experience supporting data center, hyperscale, telecom, or networking infrastructure
• Knowledge of connector and ferrule standards such as Telcordia GR-326 and IEC standards
