Job Summary
A company is looking for a Catering Coordinator - Contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate catering and banqueting orders for conferences, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
- Develop and refine menus that prioritize quality, variety, and dietary inclusivity
- Manage high-volume catering logistics, including service needs, setup, equipment, and budget tracking
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume catering operations or management, preferably in a hotel or convention center
- Proven ability to manage logistics, menu planning, and service standards
- Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenditures
- Comfortable with planning systems and spreadsheets (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office)
- A degree in a related field and food safety certification are assets
