CBO Specialist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CBO Specialist II - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate accurate provider credentialing, coding, billing, posting, and collection for supported entities
• Serve as a liaison between providers/office staff and hospitals or payor plans
• Perform registration, billing, follow-up, and collection functions for all payors, including self-pay

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience reading hospital/Physician medical records
• Detailed understanding of CPT & ICD-9 (10) coding
• Detailed understanding of Professional charging processes
• 3 years experience in Professional/Physician credentialing, registration, billing, customer service, or collection, with at least 2 years specific to credentialing and/or billing office work
