CCIE Network Support Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled CCIE Network Support Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage complex network infrastructures, provide customer support, and mentor junior engineers, with occasional on-site support in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Key responsibilities

• Support and optimize complex network infrastructures in a fast-paced enterprise environment
• Lead and mentor junior engineers while troubleshooting complex network issues
• Engage with customers to ensure effective network solutions and support

Required qualifications

• CCIE (Routing & Switching) certification or equivalent hands-on expertise
• Experience in network engineering/support within enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and F5 load balancers
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments
