CDI Auditor with CCDS Certification

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote CDI Auditor with CCDS Certification, the role focuses on reviewing clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance, conducting CDI audits, and providing education to enhance documentation quality and coding accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high-level, secondary case reviews to ensure accurate and comprehensive provider documentation
• Conduct CDI audits and assess documentation alignment with coding and payer guidelines
• Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports highlighting trends and improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• CCDS or CDIP certification required
• RN preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years' CDI experience
• Thorough knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations related to the Inpatient Prospective Payment System
• Ability to communicate collaboratively with physicians and hospital staff to promote quality improvement
