CDI Consultant with CRC Certification

Job Summary

To enhance documentation quality and provider education in a remote environment, the full-time CDI Consultant with CRC Certification will drive clinical knowledge, risk adjustment expertise, and coding accuracy while delivering targeted education and conducting concurrent documentation reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted, intervention-based education and facilitate one-on-one provider education sessions
• Build and maintain the CDI clinical content library and develop specialty-specific educational materials
• Conduct concurrent documentation reviews to evaluate clinical support for active diagnoses and identify documentation gaps

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in clinical documentation integrity, coding operations, or risk adjustment
• Active CRC certification required, along with either CPC or CCS certification
• Demonstrated experience delivering provider education in an ambulatory or value-based care setting
• Strong working knowledge of risk adjustment coding and CMS documentation standards
