CDI Denials Analyst - Texas Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding and CDI Denials Analyst - CCDS.

Key Responsibilities

• Review coding denials for accuracy and adherence to guidelines
• Compose and submit appeal letters and identify coding trends for education opportunities
• Communicate front-end activities affecting the denials process and seek process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of acute hospital-based Coding and/or CDI experience
• Experience in denials and appeals within an acute hospital setting
• Experience working in a remote environment
• Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, or CDIP
• Preferred: RN with CDI experience
