CDI Query Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CDI Query Writer.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and distribute compliant queries to providers for optimal documentation
• Collaborate with MD Reviewers to ensure queries are accurately written and distributed
• Create queries following AHIMA, ACDIS, and AHA guidelines to support accurate coding and reimbursement

Required Qualifications

• Education: Foreign Medical Graduate, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Information Management, or related degree
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical work experience and 2 years of current Inpatient CDI experience
• Licensure: At least one of the following: MD, DO, CDIP, RN, BSN, CCS, CCDS
