CDI Supervisor RN or RHIA

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervisor, Clinical Document Improvement (CDI).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, planning, and organization of the CDI program
• Train new staff and ensure quality standards are met
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, and provide documentation education as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5 years of CDI reviewing experience
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
• Certification in Clinical Documentation Improvement (e.g., CCDOSCP, CCDS-O, CCS, CDIP, CPC) required
• Clinical knowledge of disease processes and medical record review skills
