CDL Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Instructor to mentor students in CDL training.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate driving operations and oversee students' safe equipment use
• Supervise trainees and maintain necessary documentation, such as attendance and training records
• Provide daily instruction in areas including pre-trip inspections, basic control skills, and road driving

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with limited moving violations
• Minimum of 3 years of over-the-road or local commercial driving experience
• Pass a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug tests
• Ability to effectively deliver training and curriculum to students
• Complete all required onboarding and continuing education in a timely manner
