CDS Intake Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CDS Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for network providers, physicians, and members.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process authorization requests via phone, fax, and web
• Collect and transfer non-clinical data and acquire structured clinical data
• Provide customer service to callers following up on existing authorization requests

Required Qualifications

• 0 or more years of applicable work experience
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• 1 year of applicable experience in a medical, healthcare, or contact center setting is preferred
• Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
