CDU Trainer

Job Summary

To enhance team capabilities, the full-time CDU Trainer will provide training on denials follow-up processes, prepare reporting on trends, and facilitate resolutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Train new and current team members on denials follow-up processes and prepare educational materials
• Analyze denial CARC codes and prepare reports to identify trends and provide account guidance
• Communicate with management and other departments to ensure effective handling of patient accounts and escalate issues as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
• 3+ years of experience in medical specialty billing
• Strong understanding of claims processes including Clean Claim, UB 04, and 1500 formats
• Experience with 835 Remittance and CARC codes
• Ability to prepare training documentation and deliver presentations effectively
