Job Summary

A company is looking for a Central Intake Coordinator to support their home health team in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Medicaid/Medicare and commercial insurance benefits, including contacting insurance companies and using state portals
  • Enter admissions and client services into systems, and obtain necessary authorizations for clients
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate information in client accounts
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of prior experience in healthcare or personal service industry preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Word
  • Understanding of authorizations and eligibility issues preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid programs preferred
