Centralized Scheduler

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Centralized Scheduler to provide excellent first experiences for patients referred to outpatient physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient office operations and prompt communication with potential patients and referral sources
• Schedule procedures accurately and communicate necessary information to patients and healthcare team members
• Assist with pre-registration by obtaining demographic and insurance information and manage scheduling concerns

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in the healthcare field dealing with customer service
• Experience in healthcare scheduling, customer service, or a call center environment
• Industry Specific Customer Service Certification preferred
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or 2 years' experience in a similar role
