Job Summary
Providing telephone and digital support for patients and provider offices, the full-time Centralized Service Representative will manage appointment scheduling, patient account creation, and communication while adhering to established protocols in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately create and manage patient accounts in the electronic health record system
- Process and route a high volume of patient telephone calls while ensuring compliance with departmental protocols
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring a positive patient experience
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year of paid customer service work experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting or call center preferred
- Intermediate ability in computer applications, particularly electronic medical records systems and MS Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations
