Job Summary

Providing essential telephone and digital support for patients and provider offices, the full-time Centralized Service Representative will manage appointment scheduling, patient account creation, and insurance verification while adhering to established protocols in a patient access services environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Accurately create or locate patient accounts and collect necessary demographics and insurance information
  • Process and route patient telephone calls, ensuring efficient scheduling across multiple service lines and specialties
  • Communicate effectively with patients and providers, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional manner
Required qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one (1) year of paid customer service work experience
  • Experience in a healthcare setting or call center is preferred
  • Intermediate ability in computer applications, including electronic medical records and MS Office
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently
