Job Summary
Providing telephone and digital support for patients and provider offices, the full-time Centralized Service Representative will manage appointment scheduling and patient account creation while adhering to established protocols in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately create and locate patient accounts in the electronic health record system, collecting necessary demographics and insurance information
- Process and route a high volume of patient calls, ensuring accurate scheduling of appointments across multiple service lines and specialties
- Communicate effectively with patients and providers, addressing concerns and coordinating schedules while maintaining a professional demeanor
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year of paid customer service work experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting or call center is preferred
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and adapt to frequent process changes
