Certification & Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

To support federal compliance efforts, the remote Certification & Compliance Project Specialist will manage certification tasks, assist with leading workstream meetings, and ensure alignment with CMS standards across multiple Medicaid Enterprise Systems projects for a 12-month duration.

Key responsibilities:

• Support project teams through certification tasks and manage the Certification Evidence Tracker
• Update the document repository for CMS certification artifacts and oversee system demonstrations for stakeholders
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely execution of certification deliverables

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience, including managing staff in matrixed environments
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple priorities and projects related to scope, schedules, and risk management
• 3+ years of healthcare industry experience, preferably in compliance or certification initiatives
• 2+ years of experience with the CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Life Cycle process
• Exceptional technical writing experience, including authoring compliance documentation and certification artifacts
