Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certification Program Manager to oversee the certification program and manage staff to ensure operational standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage certification staff to ensure compliance with operational procedures
• Facilitate hiring, training, and professional development of certification staff
• Participate in audits and report on staff performance while addressing customer concerns

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in organic production or handling techniques, including knowledge of USDA organic standards
• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, food science, or a related area
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with the National Organic Program (NOP) standards and regulations
• Strong management and supervisory skills, including mentoring and team building
• Comfortable using computer applications and presenting in front of large groups
