Job Summary
Supporting the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) on a part-time remote basis, the Certification Program Specialist will manage policy and procedure documentation, ensure website accuracy, and provide certification trend reporting while collaborating closely with the Certification Coordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update CBIC's policy and procedure documentation, including the Candidate Handbook and Recertification Manual
- Conduct regular audits of the CBIC website for accuracy and coordinate necessary corrections
- Monitor, analyze, and report on certification metrics, identifying trends and preparing summary reports for leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in certification/credentialing or customer-service-intensive administrative work
- Demonstrated mastery of complex policies and procedures related to certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and familiarity with website content management systems
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a part-time workload effectively
