Certification Project Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certification Project Specialist to support leadership in planning and executing CMS certification activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through certification tasks and execute certification strategy for assigned projects
• Manage the Certification Evidence Tracker and oversee system demonstrations for CMS certification
• Provide education on the CMS certification process to project team members and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of MMIS/CMS certification experience
• 5 years of state government/public sector experience with health and human services programs
• 5 years of project management experience, including managing staff in a matrix or direct reporting relationship
• 5 years of experience managing multiple priorities/projects, including project scope and schedules
• 3 years of experience with the CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Life Cycle process
