Job Summary

Analyzing claims for medical support, the full-time remote Certified Absence Management Specialist II will manage ongoing claims, provide counseling on absence policies, and support HR and employees throughout the absence lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in analyzing absence patterns and recommend improvements to clients
  • Provide mentoring support for peers on complex absence issues and generate absence-related reports
  • Advise employees and managers on absence policies while coordinating the absence process and return-to-work plans
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in HR or business preferred (equivalent experience considered)
  • Minimum of 3 years of absence claim administration experience or 1 year of internal Workpartners Absence Specialist experience
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet applications and databases
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state leave laws and client policies
  • Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) designation required within 12 months of hire
