Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Underwriting/Pricing, Certified Actuary (FSA/ASA).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the underwriting process for new customer acquisitions and existing relationships
• Analyze claims data to develop cost-of-care projections and evaluate profitability
• Manage a team of pricing and reporting analysts while ensuring compliance with underwriting policies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 12+ years of experience in underwriting with at least 5 years in management
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Thorough knowledge of the health care and health insurance industries
• Strong knowledge of underwriting principles in a managed care environment
• Experience in analyzing medical and administrative cost data
