Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) certification
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably with EMS or ambulance claims
- 1+ years of experience navigating electronic and paper medical record systems
- Strong knowledge of EMS billing rules and health insurance payor groups
