Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Master Billing Guides to review claims for accuracy and compliance
• Complete the billing quality scrub process and ensure claims meet necessary criteria
• Participate in daily Billing team huddles and achieve performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) certification
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably with EMS or ambulance claims
• 1+ years of experience navigating electronic and paper medical record systems
• Strong knowledge of EMS billing rules and health insurance payor groups
