Certified Ancillary Scheduler II

Job Summary

To support a multidisciplinary care team, the full-time Certified Ancillary Scheduler II will coordinate and schedule diagnostic tests and procedures, manage patient access functions, and ensure compliance with departmental policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care and schedules tests and procedures in the correct location with appropriate resources
• Obtains and documents pre-certification and authorization requirements while maintaining communication with patients and physician offices
• Monitors scheduling reports and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent customer service

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3 or more years of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting or patient access experience required
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) required within 180 days of hire
