Certified Appraisal Review Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Certified Appraisal Review Analyst, the candidate will perform moderately complex internal real estate appraisal reviews for compliance with corporate policy and industry standards, while managing collateral risk and communicating with appraisal vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze appraisals to confirm reported values for financing purposes and evaluate report completion methodology
• Maintain daily and monthly goals set by senior management while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Communicate with appraisal vendors to clarify and obtain additional supporting data as necessary

Required qualifications

• Active Certified or Certified General Appraiser
• Three or more years of mortgage or consumer loan underwriting experience, with appraisal review experience preferred
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal and external clients
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training is preferred
