Certified Auditor Technical Trainer

Job Summary

To enhance the technical effectiveness of the Clinical Chart Validation team, the full-time Certified Auditor Technical Trainer will develop and deliver training programs for outpatient and specialty audits, mentor team members, and collaborate with subject matter experts to improve audit productivity and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical training plans, materials, and assessments for audit team members
• Deliver training sessions using various methods, including classroom, online, and webinars, while mentoring new team members
• Assess training needs and monitor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and improve audit accuracy

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Economics, Health Information Management, or Business preferred
• Coding certification (CCS, CPC, etc.) required; CCDS candidates must obtain coding certification within 6 months
• 5 to 7+ years of experience with medical claims, billing/payment systems, and coding terminology
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in audit technology and Microsoft Office applications
