Certified Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing & Payment Resolution Specialist for a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate billing charges for accuracy and compliance
• Submit claims electronically and monitor claims transmission reports
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and manage claim edits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
• Current certification: CPB or CRCR required; CPC preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare billing experience in surgical hospital or ASC environments
• Experience with revenue cycle management platforms and denial management
• Strong knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
