Certified Cardiology Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Inpatient Cardiology Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding services for Cardiology Diagnostic Testing
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes and interpret coding guidelines
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and participate in ongoing training and education

Required Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• At least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Must have a reliable internet connection and current coding materials
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
