Certified Cardiology Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Cardiology Diagnostic Coding Specialist who will provide coding services for various medical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4 specialties
• Ensure accurate application of diagnosis and procedure codes while interpreting coding guidelines
• Participate in training and comply with ethical standards and internal policies

Required Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience required
• Familiarity with EMR and billing systems is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required
• Must maintain a productivity level and quality score of 95% or higher
