Job Summary

Applying CPT-4 and HCPCS codes to medical records for cardiovascular and interventional radiology departments, the full-time Certified Cardiovascular Coder will ensure coding accuracy, manage surgical logs, and conduct charge capture audits in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Coding surgical procedures and verifying supplies used during procedures
• Conducting charge capture audits to ensure compliance and identify discrepancies
• Collaborating with various departments to resolve coding and billing issues

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Required Certification: CCS, CIRCC, COC, CPC, or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and billing processes
• Proficiency in Excel, including V-Lookups and pivot tables
