Certified Charge Capture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Capture Specialist who is responsible for entering and importing charges and ensuring accurate billing codes are used.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and import charges daily, ensuring accurate coding and timely billing
• Reconcile appointment and billing detail reports to ensure all charges are captured
• Identify and communicate charge edit issues, ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three years revenue cycle experience within a physician practice
• Minimum of two years hands-on coding and/or billing experience
• Experience in Urology or a physician practice environment preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
